Notes From The FoundersSeptember, 2007 Every Monday evening, well known beauty expert and renowned hair and make-up artist Eva Scrivo hosts a radio program on Sirius Satellite radio called Beauty Talk with Eva Scrivo, which is part of the Martha Stewart line up and covers "topics ranging from hair, makeup, and skin care, to nutrition and alternative healing..." We were invited on the show to introduce Terralina™ skincare and were excited because Eva is known for having a holistic approach to beauty, and was one of the first stylists in New York to use a more natural alternative to hair coloring (Herbatint). We are impressed with Eva’s breath of knowledge of beauty, health, wellness, nutrition and style. We especially gravitate to her desire to use naturally based products without sacrificing the luxurious feel or effectiveness that we have come to expect from our skincare products. Terralina received a wonderful introduction as Eva reminded her audience that "the skin is the largest organ on the human body so whatever one puts on it, one puts into it..." She is a big fan of antioxidants and was thrilled to hear that Terralina is rich in olive oil and white tea, which are very effective at fighting free radical damage. The first caller asked a question about problem skin and Eva asked about her diet and lifestyle. Eva stressed that "...the skin is a reflection of a person’s health and well being". She went on to talk about how most of us need to be reminded that "we are what we eat," and that we can make an impact on our skin with how we take care of our bodies.
