Formulation Philosophy

At Terralina™, we believe that what goes onto your skin, goes into your body. We formulated our natural and luxurious line of skincare with your health in mind.

Using advanced formulations of natural ingredients, we bring you the most luxurious and effective skincare, without the use of harsh or harmful ingredients, such as parabens, PEGs, silicone, mineral oils, ethoxylates, glycols, acrylates, or artificial fragrance.

While many synthetic ingredients can be harsh or harmful, even some natural products contain allergens, such as peanut oils and citrus extracts, that may also irritate the skin. Therefore, we don’t believe that a product needs to be either 100% natural or highly synthetic to be effective. Rather, we believe that the best skincare comes from the deliberate and careful combination of natural ingredients and science.

We spent two years formulating our effective, safe and luxurious products using only natural and gentle alternatives to harsh or synthetic ingredients. As a result, all of our products are at least 98.85% natural. Instead of using silicone, we created a natural emulsification process based on the wonders of olive oil. We used botanical extracts and witch hazel instead of detergents and sulfates. The only non-natural part of our formulas is the preservative system, which is necessary to prevent any possible contamination. We are proud to use a gentle preservative system that is an alternative to the harsh alcohol or other controversial synthetic ingredients found in other skin care lines.

Our products are rich in antioxidants, such as Olive Oil, Olive Leaf and White Tea, to combat the damaging effects of free radicals. We use soy based ceramide to help protect the skin’s barrier function and hyaluronic acid and squalane to provide optimal hydration to the skin.
